Executive Chef Babette Golden opened Trattoria 13 in the summer of 2008, with a vision of creating SouthWest Floridas finest authentic Italian dining experience. Trained at The Culinary Institute of America. Chef Babette started her career as a Chef, studing with her Grandmother from Tuscany. She also studied at the well reviewed Villa Pandolfini located in Tuscany, Italy. Once word of her tasty signature dishes got out, offers from many well known restaurants landed on Chef Babette's plate. Although she had a love for the Tuscan region of Italy. Chef Babette knew that greater challenges and opportunities awaited her in Florida. The Toscana flavor infuses every dish she creates with her extensive knowledge and passion for perfection.

She knew that in order to create the dishes she wanted to share with the world, using only the freshest ingredients available, she would have to establish her own restaurant.
